Oracle Retail Item Planning Business Essentials 13.2

The Item Planning Business Essentials course provides learners with hands-on opportunities to interact with the Retail Item Planning solution. The course includes a review of the Item Planning business process and explores how the Retail Item Planning solution is used during each step. The course walks you through the process of planning from seeding the plan to approval for Pre-Season planning. For in-season planning. The course explores the tasks involved for the planner when they are using item planning with and without the inclusion of the Clearance Optimization Engine component.

Further, Item Planning interacts with the Clearance Optimization Engine to provide users additional capabilities for in-season planning beyond the capabilities of basic Item Planning. This course also provides a detailed explanation of that process as well as practical examples of the functionality in use.
