This course takes the Security Administrator through the steps of exporting the SAML metadata (including X.509 certificates) as an XML file from a Service Provider host (SP) and then importing the same XML metadata on an Identity Provider host (IdP) using Oracle Identity Federation (OIF). The Identity Provider uses Oracle Internet Directory (OID) stored on an Oracle 11g Database. The configuration is done through the Enterprise Manager FMW Control hosted on Oracle WebLogic Servers. After successful metadata configuration, three kinds of federations (Transient, Mapped, and Linked) are tested by using an HTTP request from a Web browser to make a single sign-on (SSO) and view a restricted resou…
