Oracle Essbase Studio 11.1.2: Create & Manage Data Structures (11.1.2.2)
Starting dates and places
Description
In today's competitive business world, Essbase developers must be able to build applications quickly and efficiently, often using a variety of data and metadata sources. Essbase Studio provides Essbase professionals with a development tool that consolidates cube construction activities into a single interface, with consistent performance for outline building and data loading.
This course gives you the information you need to build your Essbase models quickly from many sources, giving you more time to interpret results and modify your models as required. Whether you are sourcing from a relational database, data warehouse, EPMA dimension server, or flat files, you can use the elements, hierar…

Whether you are sourcing from a relational database, data warehouse, EPMA dimension server, or flat files, you can use the elements, hierarchies, and models you build in Essbase Studio in your next project--and the next one after that. This course shows you how to connect to the most commonly used data sources, how to build and catalog dimensions and hierarchies, and how to set Essbase properties to produce Essbase outlines and load data--all from a single user console. In addition, you learn features such as lineage tracking (for change control) and drill-through (for the extra-cube details you need) to make your Essbase modeling fast and efficient.
* This course is designed for customers using Oracle Essbase Studio 11.1.2.2. This course is not suitable for customers using Oracle Essbase Studio 11.1.2.1 or earlier.
