In this session, Elke Phelps describes the components of the R12.1 EBS architecture and introduces you to the terminology and concepts to support an advanced architecture deployment. She then takes you through the essential steps of a successful Oracle R12.1 EBS configuration for both the application and database tiers.

• Define the database tier filesystems
