Oracle Business Intelligence 11g is now at the 11.1.1.6.2 BP1 release and features a host of new features and improvements since the initial 11g release, including a new BI Mobile client, enhanced visualizations, new team development features, better Hyperion/Essbase integration, and the new Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine. Customers are now deploying Oracle BI EE 11g and integrating it with their existing Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database and Oracle ERP applications, and are now looking guidance on how to best integrate BI into their environments in a secure, manageable and highly-available manner.

This live virtual class, led by Mark Rittman, Oracle ACE Director and author of the Oracle Press book "Oracle Business Intelligence 11g Developers Guide" (Oracle Press, 2012) takes developers and administrators responsible for Oracle BI EE 11g systems through the architecture of the product, new features for the Oracle BI Repository, and introduces the Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine along with Oracle TimesTen for Exalytics.

New additions to the Oracle BI product family such as Oracle Endeca Information Discovery are discussed and demonstrated, and placed within the context of Oracle BI EE 11g. Techniques for integrating Oracle BI EE 11g with Oracle Essbase are provided, covering areas such as security integration, performance considerations and repository modeling, with the seminar then ending with an in-depth explanation of how Oracle BI EE functionality can be leveraged by Oracle ADF and Oracle WebCenter applications to create composite, web 2.0-style applications featuring BI insights.

Why should you attend this seminar?

Aimed at Oracle BI EE developers with experience in either the 10g or 11g releases, and Oracle BI Applications developers looking to understand the wider Oracle BI EE platform, this masterclass tackles more advanced topics around Oracle BI EE development and administration going beyond the manuals and basic training courses. With plenty of opportunities for discussions around the seminar topics, and live demonstrations of Oracle BI EE 11g, Oracle Endeca Information Discovery and Oracle Exalytics In-Memory Machine, this is an ideal 2-day event for experienced Oracle BI EE developers looking to understand the platform in more depth.

Please note:

When you register for this event it will appear you are booking for an event on the first day only. This is not an error but due to constraints within our booking system, please do proceed with your booking and you will in fact receive the access details for both days.

A Live Virtual Class (LVC) is exclusively for registered students; unregistered individuals may not view an LVC at any time. Registered students must view the class from the country listed in the registration form. Unauthorized recording, copying, or transmission of LVC content may not be made.
