Description
Deepen and expand your mastery of fiction writing through reader responses and short assignments in and out of class. The techniques of prose narrative, including dialogue, character development, pacing, point of view, flashback, and creative revision receive special emphasis to help students explore and express their stories. Short samples of works by a diverse group of writers are used for illustration and discussion.
