Course 7250: Managing Applications in a Windows Server 2008 Environment

Introduction This 2-hour course describes enhancements to the Application Server, Web Server, and Terminal Services roles in Windows Server 2008. It also provides guidelines for deploying applications on your servers. This knowledge helps you use the server roles to manage an organization's application infrastructure.

The course covers the following:

• Application platform services roles
• Application deployment
• Web Server enhancements in Windows Server 2008
• Terminal Services enhancements in Windows Server 2008

This course helps you prepare for the following certification exam:

• 70-646: Pro: Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator

• Windows Server 2003 MCSE or MCSA
