Introduction This course describes transforms, animations, and visual states that XAML provides. Transforms are used to transform the appearance of an object on the interface and you will learn to use two-dimensional transforms. You can include animations to create the illusion of movement within your application. Visual states are used to associate each state of your application with a different collection of settings. An understanding of implementing transforms, animations, and visual states in your XAML-based applications will help you develop richer and more effective user interfaces than you can with traditional Windows Forms or HTML.
