Course 70083: Getting Started with Office 365

Introduction This course introduces you to the basic concepts of cloud technology, including the Office 365 service offerings. An understanding of how to plan for, maintain, and support your organizations deployment of Office 365 as well as how to use the Microsoft Online Services Portal to create your initial Office 365 account helps in getting started with Office 365. This information also helps you configure the initial Office 365 administrative account, called the tenant user. Domains are an intrinsic part of Office 365 and migrating to Office 365 requires some Domain Name System (DNS) modifications to your domain zone files. An understanding of DNS and domain registrar basics will help you manage your domains in Microsoft Office 365. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:
