Course 70023: Managing Sites and Replication, and Ensuring Continuity

Introduction This 2.75-hour course describes the skills needed to manage sites and replication, and ensure continuity. As an administrator of a Windows® enterprise or as an IT professional supporting Windows Server® 2008 and Active Directory® Domain Services (AD DS), you need to ensure that efficient authentication is provided and that the domain controller is maintained properly with optimized replication. This course describes how to create a distributed directory service that supports domain controllers and how to manage replication and service utilization. This course also explains the tools that help you monitor the performance of the domain controllers and help you ensure the health and longevity of AD DS.The audience for this course is Active Directory Technology Specialists, Server Administrators, and Enterprise Administrators who want to learn how to implement Active Directory in a distributed environment, secure domains using Group Policy, perform backup and restore, and monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory configuration to ensure trouble-free operation.
