Course 70022: Configuring DNS and Managing Domain Controllers

Introduction This 2.5-hour course describes the skills needed to configure DNS and manage domain controllers. As a user of DNS and as an IT professional supporting users and systems that rely on DNS, you are already familiar with DNS. This course describes how to implement DNS to support name resolution both within your Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) domain, outside your domain, and on your intranet. This course also explores adding domain controllers to a forest or domain, and managing the roles performed by domain controllers.The target audience for this course is Active Directory Technology Specialists, Server Administrators, and Enterprise Administrators who want to learn how to implement Active Directory in a distributed environment, secure domains using Group Policy, perform backup and restore, and monitor and troubleshoot Active Directory configuration to ensure trouble-free operation.
