Introduction
This three-hour course describes the skills required for using
Group Policy to manage user desktops and enterprise security and
configuration in a Windows Server 2008 environment. Group Policy
can be used to manage the configuration of a variety of components
and features of Windows. Configuration can be defined, enforced,
and updated by using the settings in Group Policy objects (GPOs)
that affect a portion of the enterprise as broad as an entire site
or a domain, or as narrow as a single organizational unit (OU) or a

course includes Active Directory Technology Specialists, Server
Administrators, and Enterprise Administrators who want to learn how
to implement Active Directory in a distributed environment, secure
domains using Group Policy, perform backup and restore, and monitor
and troubleshoot Active Directory configuration to ensure
trouble-free operation. Objectives At the end of the course,
