Course 6863: Configuring Terminal Services Web Access and Session Broker

Introduction This 2-hour course describes how TS Web Access provides access to RemoteApp programs and remote desktops through a Web browser. It explains the use of TS Session Broker.

This course covers the following topics:

• TS Web Access role service installation
• TS Web Access data source configuration
• TS Session Broker load balancing

This course helps you prepare for exam 70-643: TS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuring.

The prerequisites for this course are as follows:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Networking collections 6420 and 6421, or TS exam 70-642, or equivalent knowledge.
• Basic understanding of network operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of server hardware. A+ or equivalent knowledge is expected but not required.

This course has the same content as the previous version in an updated viewer with a new look and feel.
Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Install TS Web Access.
• Configure TS Web Access for RemoteApp programs and remote desktops.
• Configure TS Session Broker.
