Course 6664: Creating and Hosting Workflows by Using Windows Workflow Foundation

Introduction In this 2-hour on-line course, application developers will learn how to create and host a Windows Workflow Foundation workflow. Topics covered in this course include:

• Overview of Windows Workflow Foundation
• Creating Sequential Workflows
• Creating State Machine Workflows
• Modifying Workflows at Runtime

This course will also prepare you for exam 70-504 TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 - Windows Workflow Foundation.

Student prerequisites

To get the most out of this course, the target audience should have previous experience developing applications by using earlier versions of Microsoft Visual Studio. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Explain Windows Workflow Foundation concepts and features.
• Create sequential workflows.
• Create state machine workflows.
• Modify workflows at run time.

• Microsoft Silverlight 4.0 or higher
• Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher
• Microsoft XML Core Services 3.0 or higher
• A Super VGA monitor with minimum screen resolution 1024x768, with 16-bit color.
• A sound card, and either speakers or headphones (for multi-media audio).
• Internet bandwidth of 56K or faster. Broadband internet access is recommended.
