Course 6650: Managing Documents by Using Windows Presentation Foundation

Introduction In this 2-hour online course, application developers will learn how to manage documents in a Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application. Topics covered in this course include:

• Creating and Viewing Flow Documents
• Customizing Text in Flow Documents
• Creating and Viewing Fixed Documents
• Packaging Documents
• Printing Documents

This course will also prepare you for exam 70-502 TS: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 - Windows Presentation Foundation.

Student prerequisites:

To get the most out of this course, the target audience should have previous experience with developing applications by using earlier versions of Microsoft Visual Studio. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Create and view fixed documents.

• Print documents.

• Microsoft Windows Media Player 7.0 or higher
• Microsoft XML Core Services 3.0 or higher
• A Super VGA monitor with minimum screen resolution 1024x768, with 16-bit color.
• A sound card, and either speakers or headphones (for multi-media audio).
• Internet bandwidth of 56K or faster. Broadband internet access is recommended.
