Course 6146: Configuring Security on Microsoft Internet Information Services 7.0

Introduction This course provides IT Professionals with the knowledge and skills required to describe the new and improved security features in IIS 7.0 and explains how these features help Web administrators to increase security on Web sites. This course also explains how authentication and authorization can identify users and restrict access to Web sites.

The content in this course supports the following certification exam(s):

• Exam 70-649 TS: Transition from Windows Server 2003 MCSE to Windows Server 2008 Technology Specialist
• Exam 70-643 TS: Configuring Windows Server 2008 Application Services

Audience Prerequisites:

• Practical knowledge of Windows Server 2008 administration
• Experience of setting security properties on network resources
• Experience with security certificates
• Knowledge of the HTTP and TCP/IP protocols
