Introduction This course will introduce you to the features and functionalities in Office SharePoint Server 2007 that you can use to integrate business data. The course will provide an overview of the features and functionalities of the Business Data Catalog. You can use the application definition files to make business data searchable and to display data from external data sources. This will also help you prepare for exam 70-542. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Implement an application definition file.
• Make external data searchable by using application definition files.
• Display data by using an application definition file.
