Course 5362: Fundamentals of Windows Vista Printing, Scanning, and Faxing

Introduction In this online course, you explore the fundamentals of printing, scanning, and faxing in Windows Vista including architecture, security, drivers, and services. It also includes a treatment of XPS print path, EMF data format, GDI print model, special security groups, Internet Printing, TWAIN, OCR, and AT modem commands. In addition, these fundamental concepts are reinforced in a virtual machine-based lab where you use utilities to examine the process of printing, scanning, and faxing. This online learning course is one of several courses that focus on Windows Vista technologies. It is composed of a rich multimedia experience coupled with comprehensive technical labs.
