Course 5339: Migrating Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services

Introduction In this two-hour online course, you will learn how to migrate your existing SQL Server 2000 DTS Solutons to SQL Server Integration Services. Topics covered within the course include describing the features of SSIS, upgrading DTS to SSIS, and migrating SQL Server 2000 DTS Packages to SSIS. These courses are for database administrators that are responsible for installing SQL Server 2005 within environments that have existing SQL Server 2000 installations.

Student prerequisites:

This course requires that students meet the following prerequisites:

• Have thorough experience with SQL Server 2000 including the knowledge and skills to manage and maintain a SQL Server 2000 database solution.
• Be familiar with SQL Server 2005 features, tools, and technologies and have a comprehensive understanding of all its new features and technologies including:
