Course 4915: Securing Microsoft Exchange Server 2003

Introduction In this course, you secure Exchange Server 2003 by securing mailboxes, protecting and preparing against virus attack, setting appropriate administrative permissions, and configuring firewalls to aid in the safety of your network. This course also help prepare you for certification exam 70-284: Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Describe how to prepare for and protect against computer viruses
• Secure mailboxes
• Implement digital signature and encryption capabilities
• Configure a firewall
• Create an administrative group
• Configure administrative permissions
• Describe how to allow only the required services to run on Exchange Server 2003
