Course 3391: Monitoring Clients with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007

Introduction In this online learning course, you will learn how to monitor network clients and their applications with Operations Manager 2007. You will determine client monitoring levels based on client computer criticality. You will also implement agentless exception monitoring, collective health monitoring, and business-critical client monitoring.

To get the most out of this learning product, you should have:

• 3+ years of experience managing and monitoring a Microsoft Windows-based network using some version of MOM.
• A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows Server 2003 credential or equivalent knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Determine client monitoring levels based on client computer criticality.
• Implement agentless exception monitoring (AEM).
• Implement collective health monitoring (CHM).
