Course 10516: Business Continuity in Microsoft SharePoint 2010

Introduction This two-hour course provides you with the knowledge of business continuity management to ensure that a SharePoint 2010 server is continuously available during a disaster or hardware disruption.

This course covers the following topics:

• Concepts of business continuity management
• High availability in SharePoint Server 2010
• Backup and restore processes in SharePoint Server 2010
• Farm and granular backup and restore

This course helps you prepare for the Exam 70-667 TS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Configuring.

The prerequisites for this course are as follows:

• An experience of at least 12 months in deployment and management of SharePoint solutions.
• An experience of at least 12 months in working with Windows Server 2008 Server, Internet Information Services (IIS) and networking infrastructure services, such as DNS and Active Directory.
• An experience of working with Windows PowerShell.

Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:
