Course 10007: Introduction to WPF Animation for Windows Forms Developers

Introduction This two-hour course provides you with the skills and knowledge required to create and use Animations in WPF. You will learn how to create animations in XAML or procedural code by using Visual Studio 2008. You will also learn how to use Expression Blend 2 to create complex animations

Topics covered in this course include:

• Introduction to WPF Animations
• Creating Animations in Visual Studio 2008
• Creating Animations with Expression Blend 2

Student prerequisites:

To benefit from this course, the learner must be familiar with, Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or 2008, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, or 3.5, Visual C# or Visual Basic .NET, and WinForms. The learner must also have access to Visual Studio 2008 and Expression Blend 2.
Objectives At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Describe the key elements of WPF Animations.
• Create an animation in Visual Studio 2008.
• Create an animation in Expression Blend 2.

• A sound card, and either speakers or headphones (for multi-media audio).
• Internet bandwidth of 56K or faster. Broadband internet access is recommended.
