Re-enter the Workforce...Quick
Compared to a traditional two-year program, the Katz One-Year MBA program provides a faster return on investment. The program begins in August and finishes the following July. The condensed timeline means that students shoulder a highly intensive course load. However, we still give students the flexibility to design a schedule that fits their needs.
Collaboration Required
Diversity is one of our program's greatest strengths. While a proven skill for business is a common thread, it is not uncommon to have a class composed of Certified Public Accountants, engineers, doctors, attorneys, entrepreneurs, and individuals poised to take over the family business. Our students build interdisciplinary skills by working with people from different backgrounds, and different ways of thinking.
Degree Requirements
Our applicants have substantial work experience and strong academic backgrounds. The ideal candidate has focused career goals and has earned an undergraduate degree. After being admitted into the One-Year MBA program, a student must fulfill the following requirements to graduate:
- A minimum of 51 credits of approved graduate work
- The appropriate distribution of required core courses and elective courses
- A minimum cumulative quality point average (QPA) of 3.0 (B)
Application Components
Once all of the required components are received, the admissions committee can make an informed decision about your application. Admission components include:
- Online application form
Create your personal application account where you can start and save your work as needed. You will also submit the following through your on-line application account:- application fee (online)
- two recommendations
- essay responses
- current résumé
- Official transcripts/academic documents
- Official GMAT scores
- Official TOEFL or IELTS scores
- Full-Time MBA and joint/dual degree programs: While not a strict requirement of every prospective candidate, evaluative interviews are conducted regularly. Shortly after you submit your online application, you may receive an email invitation to register for an interview. Interviews can be conducted in person or via Skype video. We regret that we cannot conduct telephone interviews.
