Linkbait that gets links

Linkbait can be any activity which has the explicit purpose of getting links to your website.

Building links can be a big part of your job as an SEO because it plays such a big part in the algorithms used by search engines to determine the order of their results.  Therefore it is worth investing time in learning how to build links properly and by properly, we mean build the links that will stand the test of time.

This module aims to give you a solid introduction to linkbait, tell you what it is, the importance of it and how to do it for your own website or your client.  There are many other ways to build links which will be covered in other modules of DistilledU.  Whilst these should not be ignored, doing linkbait correctly can lead to some of the most powerful links you will get as an SEO.
