"It was a life changing experience. I knew nothing of coding, and am now a medium-level programmer. The program was hard, but worth it. I believe graduation is really a sign you are able and willing to learn. The culture at Codaisseur was for people to learn, to ask questions, a very open and safe environment. I find this is the case among most developers. It was also useful to share this with your fellow students, to share the self-doubt, which you will inevitably encounter. And last but not least, the support to find a job, and also when negotiating your contract was really amazing, they really understand your needs. (Graduated oktober 2017)" - 2021-01-07 23:22

"The teachers are all very qualified and the curriculum is beginner-friendly, complete and up to date.
The course is indeed very demanding and intense, which is a good heads-up because it really needs a lot of focus and motivation.
Mentioning the human aspect might seem a bit off-topic, but as we all know the imposter syndrome can be a huge issue, especially if you're a total beginner, and during the pandemic the feeling of isolation can be overwhelming, especially for expats who don't have any family or friends around - like it was for me, since I moved specifically to attend Codaisseur. Not only the teachers, but all the advisors and staff are very friendly and warm people, and I found nothing but a welcoming and supportive environment, either about becoming a developer and the challenges and self-doubt many students face, or the isolation and social deprivation due to the pandemic. At the end of every week (or every other week) we'd get a survey in which to anonymously assess and give feedback on how we were doing (not just limited to the course technically, but emotionally too), how the teachers were doing and how they could improve their service." - 2020-12-26 01:50

"Almost two years ago I decided to change my path and learn to code. Codaisseur has been the best imaginable place to start. They not only teach you the most modern web development tech stack, but evenly important they teach you how to be confident of these new skills. The amount of knowledge can be overwhelming, but then you notice you get your app to work, one line of code at the time." - 2020-12-23 12:51

"I found Codaisseur when searching for a Bootcamp, that would enable me to effectively change my career into web development, so I found their No Cure No Pay business model perfect. The course itself happened to be the most stressful and hard 11 weeks of my life because the learning pace is so fast, but it is surprisingly doable with the way lectures are structured and with the personal help of one of the nicest and most resourceful teachers and assistants I ever met. As someone with no technical background, I wouldn't be able to learn so many technical skills in only 11 weeks, and what's more, Codaisseur gave us the right tools and skills to actually enter the job market fully prepared. All along the way and even after the academy, we were given the support of career advisors, were able to join online employer meetup events, and much more. I found a job with one of the biggest companies in the global payments industries only 2 months after graduating from the academy. I think this is the biggest added value of Codaisseur, the support you get when actually looking for the job." - 2020-12-23 11:00

"I graduated more than two years ago and found a job within two months as a junior software developer. As the title explains, this bootcamp is a very good springboard for getting in the tech industry. Before starting, I did not have any professional development skills but did have a great interest in tech and coding. I did a lot of self study but my conclusion was that it would not be enough to land a job as a developer. I needed more guidance in developing the prerequisite (technical) skills. For me, Codaisseur offered exactly that. It was an intense program which offered a good introduction into full stack development. While the course was very enjoyable and rewarding, keep in mind that even though you'll spend quite some hours developing your skills in a class, a lot of extra hours have to be poured in as well in order to really grasp the concepts that are taught. Especially towards the end, I did have to put in some nightly hours but it was ultimately worth it (it's obviously only temporary). I'll also have to add that in order make it easier for yourself, please prepare as much as you can. Check the current curriculum for the specific technologies but I can guarantee you that if you have a firm grasp on JavaScript (and possibly a little React), you'll have a lot more mental space for all the new concepts. I also liked the teachers a lot; they were always ready to help and open for questions and feedback. Another thing to note is that the attrition in my class was pretty high, but in my opinion that can be mostly attributed to a lack of foundation before starting this course. You can still manage without prior knowledge, but be prepared to put in a lot of extra hours. Also, please note that I did the course when on site classes were the norm. I cannot say much about the classes in the current form, but I can vouch for teaching material and teachers. In short, I would definitely recommend this bootcamp, but please make sure that you're 100% committed and you really want a job a a developer. " - 2020-12-22 20:33

"Codaisseur was one of the most intense 11 weeks of my life. Almost every day new material was introduced to then shortly be put to practice. The teachers were heavily committed and particularly helpful when trying to keep the confidence up while looking for a job. I graduated class #25 and am currently into my second year of working for one of the Netherlands top ten webshops. Would definitely recommend." - 2020-12-22 17:42

"Before I became a developer I was an optician. I really wanted to switch careers but I did not have a bachelor degree for it. Codaisseur really tests your wits and potential you have instead of degree. I was afraid that I wouldn't be smart enough to follow the bootcamp but the teachers really pull you trough this extensive and steep learning curve.
I got a job the same day that I received my certificate and still working there with a permanent contract since November. I am mainly a backend developer working with the newest stack and a valued member in my team. I am really grateful that I joined Codaisseur, and got a change to change my life and use their network. Would recommend it to anybody that wants to get into development. " - 2020-12-22 12:42

"I first heard about Codaisseur through a neighbour who had the same education as me (Pharmaceutical Scientist). Being burned out from my job and needing a new challenge, it was definitely the right choice for me to decide to do the Codaisseur Academy. At the time I did it, the course was still on site, it only became online at the end due to COVID.
I can't recommend these guys enough. The staff is friendly, the teachers are understanding and helpful, everything is well organised from start to finish and I felt like everything was setting us up for success. Don't underestimate it though, the course was intense and hard, and I recommend doing all of the prep work you can!
The no cure no pay model is great and it worked great for me! I got my job just a couple weeks after graduation and I could not be happier that I made the switch." - 2020-10-08 15:55

"At Codaisseur there are a lot of hidden costs, fake advertisment, and promises. Though Codaisseur allowed me to change career paths in a short amount of time, I am unsatisfied with the company and feel lied to.
Of the 7 teachers, 6 of them are outstanding. The career week was a joke. The quality was poor, the career advisor was unorganized and didn't seem to care if you'd get a job or not.
During the interview process, it was promised that Codaisseur would introduce you to their partners. In the end, not one student has been introduced to their so-called 'partners'. There is also NO job guarantee at all. YOU are the one who has to apply for the jobs, Codaisseur doesn't do anything to help you. You have a weekly call with their staff, but it's more to check if you're doing what they want you to do.
There is a staggering amount of students that graduated months ago, do everything in their power to get a job, but are still unemployed. Codaisseur doesn't seem to do anything to help them besides the 'weekly calls'.
The course is fast-paced and extremely stressful. People dropped out of the course due to breakdowns from stress. These people still had to pay the whole fee of €10.802.
Codaisseur claims that you only pay the €800 admission fee and that the rest (€10.802) will be paid by your future employer. This is a lie. YOU are the one who pays the €10.802. Maybe your employer pays it directly to Codaisseur, but it will be subtracted from your salary, so in the end, you pay the €298 per month yourself, for 29 months.
During Codaisseur you have the feeling that you're supported and valued, but as soon as you graduate the course, the focus switches to the new students that just started their course.
Another thing: Codaisseur claims that they are the #1 Coding Academy of the Netherlands. This does not mean that they are the best in The Netherlands, it just means that they are the first." - 2020-07-08 12:05

"1. Reader is good (in terms of contents and level).
2. Trainers are with rich knowledge and experiences for React/Redux.
3. Pity is that the training is almost self-study, no lectures for each subject.
Suggestions for improvement:
There are a number of subjects for React/Redux. A lecture should be given for each subject before the students do homework so that the students can better/certainly understand the contents.

"I've graduated from the academy recently and found a job afterwards. It's a great place if you know you put in the extra effort to be a good developer. The stack being taught is in demand and the way they teach it makes sure you can tackle real projects. The teachers are experienced and considerate, the environment is setup for the path to be a developer. Keep in mind that you will have to work hard to get there, it's an intensive program and there's a reason why almost all of the graduates get a job. The expectations are high from the beginning, so make sure you are motivated and ready to take on the challenge. Definitely recommend it for people who want to get a head start in their future IT career. " - 2018-11-19 13:53
