MBA/JD in Law and Health Sector Management

The Master of Business Administration / Juris Doctor (MBA/JD) in Law and Health Sector Management is offered as a dual degree, administered jointly by the School of Law (LAW) and the School of Management (SMG). It equips you with an understanding of the interaction between legal and management principles in the health sector.  Health lawyers struggle with new and traditional legal problems in this economic sector. These problems include ownership of electronic medical records, public health and environmental risks, ethics and intellectual property rights involved with gene therapy, and countless others.  Because the schools share many areas of focus, you can complete both degrees in four and a half years rather than the usual five.
