Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites to take part in the PMI-ACP® course.
Whereas, if you want to access to the certification exam, you will have to comply with the following prerequisites:

• You should have 2000 hours of general project management experience in the last 5 years
• Additionally you should have at least 1,500 hours of experience working on agile project teams during last three years

Certification exam: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® exam

• Exam language: English
• Format: multiple choice questions
• Delivery: Web-based (one browser), closed book, no external help, time-bound
• Access: Candidates can access the exam within the Pearson VUE Testing Center's account (online).
• Duration: Once the test starts, candidates have 180 minutes (3.0 hours) to complete the test.
• Number of questions: 120 of which 20 are pre-set questions that do not count towards the test result.
• Passing score: PMI does not publish the passing score, but it is assumed to be in the range of 65-70%.
• Retake policy: The second and third attempt at the exam (first and second retake) can be done within your one-year eligibility period.
