Portfolios include all of an organization’s projects and programs, collectively managed to ensure alignment with strategic goals, efficient resource allocation, and maximized overall performance and return on investment.

Prerequisites:
There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation. To sit the Practitioner exam, you must have passed the MoP Foundation qualification.
Exam details
Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks before course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered, you can book your online exam at a date and time. You are responsible for booking your exam.
MoP® Foundation Exam:
- Format: Multiple-choice questions
- Number of Questions: 50
- Duration: 40 minutes
- Passing Score: 25 out of 50 (50%)
- Open/Closed Book: Closed book
- This exam evaluates your understanding of the MoP® guidance and your ability to work effectively in portfolio management roles.
MoP® Practitioner Exam:
- Format: Objective testing
- Number of Questions: 4 questions, each worth 20 marks, totaling 80 marks
- Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours)
- Passing Score: 40 out of 80 (50%)
- Open/Closed Book: Open book (only the official "Management of Portfolios" guide is permitted; annotations and tabulations are allowed, but no loose-leaf papers or sticky notes)
- This exam assesses your ability to apply and tailor MoP® principles in real-world scenarios.
Licensing and accreditation MoP® is accredited by PeopleCert, based on partner agreements and meets accreditation requirements.
