The purpose of the Foundation qualification is to confirm that you have the necessary knowledge and understanding to contribute to the identification, assessment and control of risk in any organizational perspective. The Practitioner qualification ensures that you have gained sufficient understanding of how to apply and adapt M_o_R in a scenario situation.
What is MoR® ?
Risk Management (M_o_R®) is designed to help organizations put
in place an effective risk management framework that enables them
to make informed decisions about the risks that affect their
strategic, portfolio, programme, project, product or operational
objectives. It provides practical guidance for effective risk
management and shows how to link risks to opportunities and
benefits. M_o_R® is universally applicable and aligned with ISO
standards.

sectors and regions and to different delivery methods, including
Agile.
During this Risk Management (M_o_R) course, you will improve your skills and knowledge in Risk Management - M_o_R framework. You will be able to assess and make decisions about risks that affect your organization's performance. You will also be able to protect your organization by applying the activities required to identify and control your exposure to risks. This is possible by embedding and reviewing risk management in your organization's culture and by being able to implement and update risk management in any scenario.

Target Audience
Anyone who has an interest or responsibility for the Management of Risk within their organization especially those who are responsible for risks that affect the ongoing continuity of business services. Individual who sees the need for guidance on a controlled approach to identifying, analyzing and managing risks at strategic, program, project and operational levels.

Pre-requisites
No prerequisites are necessary to apply the course, although delegates will be expected to have some theoretical knowledge gained during the Foundation training. However, in order to pass the Practitioner exam you need to be an MoR® Foundation holder.

- A detailed overview of the 8 principles underlying the M_o_R guidelines
M_o_R Approach
- A look at the documentation that supports the M_o_R approach, including risk management policies, process guide, strategies and so on.
M_o_R Processes
- The 4 main M_o_R processes Identify, Assess, Plan and Implement, along with associated process inputs, outputs, goals, tasks and techniques.
Embed and view M_o_R
- This session looks at changing organizational culture, measuring value and overcoming common barriers to implementing Risk Management, along with identifying opportunities for change.
M_o_R Perspectives
- The M_o_R guideline describes the context of Risk Management from 4 different perspectives. These are Strategic, Program, Project and Operational and this session will look at each of these perspectives in a little more detail.

Practitioner
The Practitioner element of the course follows the Practitioner syllabus and focuses on the application of all areas covered in the M_o_R Foundation course. It offers delegates the opportunity to practice Practitioner style questions in preparation for the Practitioner paper by incorporating the following:

- Syndicated and individual scenario-based exercises
Exam Information
Exams are taken online via remote proctor. You will be sent an email invitation approximately two weeks before course commencement to register on the Peoplecert portal. Once registered, you can book your online exam at a date and time. You are responsible for booking your exam.
Foundation exam
- Multiple-choice exam
- Duration 1 hour
- 75 questions (including five test questions)
- 50% success rate (35/70)
- Closed book
Practitioner exam
- Objective examination
- 3 hours duration
- Four questions per exam, 20 points per question available
- 50% passing grade (40/80)

- Candidates can use the book: Management of Risk, Guidance for Practitioners (the Management of Risk 'guide'), along with: ABC Guide Part A Example Techniques guidance document. No materials may be used other than the question booklet, scenario booklet, answer booklet and the two manuals.
FAQ
When is the classroom schedule?
Depending on the starting dates, our classroom courses are consecutively held from 10 am - 6 pm (CET) with lunch breaks in between
Will missing a live class affect my ability to complete the course?
Yes, you may be subject to not getting the exam voucher if you don't attend a class. Therefore, it's better always to let us know at least 2 weeks in advance if you require any rescheduling requests.
