The demand for project managers is high regardless of the project method used - traditional waterfall methods as well as more Agile methods such as SCRUM and Lean. This training develops the ability to plan, manage and implement all types of projects effectively way. 

The training has been based upon the book of one of the most experienced expert in project management - author and lecturer Bo Tonnquist - and conducted by training expert Ibrahim Alaff – with the aim of creating the most practical and useful project management training ever. The knowledge you gain in the training is applicable regardless of which standard, governance model, theory and method your company or organisation currently uses. 

The training is aimed at anyone considering a role as a project manager or already participating in and managing projects. It is also suitable for those who wish to complement their skills in project management. It is also an excellent choice for those who want to prepare for a certification as it supports international standards. 

You will study fully online at distance. There are no start times or hold times and you do not require any prior Project Management knowledge. You can choose to pay your course fee in instalments if you wish. All course literature is included in the training fee. The training is delivered online through the Learnster learning portal where you will find seminars with video sections which are then interspersed with theory studies, exercises, study questions, and self-assessment tests in the form of quizzes. The video sections are designed to be a red that guides you through all ten lessons.

Course format & set-up

The training is divided into 7 seminars covering the most central parts of preparation, management and implementation of a project. The idea is that the video sections with theory studies, exercises, tutorial questions, and self-assessment tests in quiz in the end of the course. The video sections are meant to be a common thread that guides you through all ten lessons. Please also allow plenty of time to read the course book, preferably before taking the video sections, exercises and the tutorial questions in the course exercise book. 

During the training, you will practice different project situations that will give you a good understanding of the role of the project manager and projects as a way of working. 

You will also practice use a number of project templates that you can also use in your future projects, such as mission statement, project plan, risk analysis, etc.

For who?

The training is aimed at anyone who is considering a role as a project manager or who is already participating in and leading projects. It is also suitable for those who wish to complement their skills in project management. No prior knowledge or qualifications are required.

Examen - certificate

You will receive a diploma upon completion of the training course. The diploma does not require the submission of exercises, study questions or tests. 

You will have the opportunity to gain a Project Management certificate on completion of the training course and passing of work test.

Ibrahim Alaff is a former project management lecturer and a driven project manager with experience working on large multinational projects. He shares his exciting experiences and best tips in his work as a project manager. 

As a project manager, Ibrahim holds several internationally recognised certificates: PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM and Scrum. 

He has experience from several industries, mainly infrastructure and engineering. Ibrahim has worked at Sigma Engineering, UNDP (United Nations Organisation for International Development) to name a few, and eventually started lecturing on project management at Uppsala University.
