Our model is based on utilizing expert Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts to facilitate training in a mixture of classroom, workshop, and one-on-one settings. We believe that training should coincide with real time application of the Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques being taught. Therefore, we have developed what we feel is a best in class method of teaching the principles of Lean Six Sigma, and other Business Improvement methodologies, as they are being applied by the organizations resources so learning and application efficiency is increased.
This course is designed to teach Lean Six Sigma Six Sigma fundamentals and its application. It is intended for full time improvement team project leaders. Students are trained and tested on their understanding and ability to apply the tools and techniques of all elements of the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. As part of the DMAIC methodology, students are taught how to integrate Lean Six Sigma into an overall approach to process improvement and project management. The course is 15 days in duration and utilizes a combination of process improvement simulation, case studies, and application of tools to real project work to facilitate learning of principles and completion of project deliverables. Students attend the training week and then in the subsequent 4-5 weeks before the next training week, apply tools to meet their project deliverables.
