The ERRV Crew Initial Training Shipboard Operations (ITSO) course is designed to meet the initial emergency response training requirements for the all prospective ERRV Crew members. This training programma is part of a broader programme, which includes ongoing onboard training and assessment. The Role and Function of the ERRV and its Crew Outcome 1: The basics of ERRV operation Outcome 2: Types of emergency incident and relevant information Outcome 3: ERRV On-Board Response ERRV Survivor Rescue and Recovery Equipment Outcome 1: Range of ERRV survivor rescue and recovery equipment Outcome 2: Safe and effective use of the ERRV Survivor Rescue and Recovery Equipment Principles and Priorities for Basic Medical Aid Outcome 1: Anatomy and Physiology as appropriate to the role of the BMA Outcome 2: Principles and Priorities of First Aid Outcome 3: Anticipated Scenarios Encountered by the BMA following an Offshore Incident Assessment and Treatment of Casualties Outcome 1: How to initially receive Casualties Onboard Outcome 2: Treatment of Anticipated Scenarios encountered by the BMA following an Offshore Incident Outcome 3: Casualty Monitoring and Recording Outcome 4: Initial assessment of casualties Outcome 5: Treatment of Anticipated Scenarios encountered by the BMA following an Offshore Incident Casualty Transfer Outcome 1&2: Preparing casualties for transfer from ERRV
